About Terravive

Terravive was born from a desire to produce the highest quality earth-friendly packaging. We offer packaging from plants—not petroleum—for companies looking to protect our Earth for this generation and the next.

When you’re running a business or planning an event, single-use packaging make sense—it promotes better sanitation, reduces the spread of diseases, and saves water, energy, and labor required to clean reusable packaging. But at least 8 million tons of plastic leaks into the ocean each year. That's equivalent to dumping the contents of one garbage truck into the ocean every minute! The best research currently available estimates that there's over 150 million tons of plastic in the ocean today. Single use plastic packaging represents most of that leakage (The New Plastics Economy, 2016).

Terravive offers a guilt free alternative. In addition to convenience, our products can mitigate or even neutralize our impact on the Earth. Terravive products are created in the U.S. using socially and environmentally friendly manufacturing practices. Our products are recyclable, home compostable, and/or industrially compostable.

About Our Founder

Sustainability has played a huge role in my life as long as I can remember. When I was younger, my parents took my brother and I to Maine's Acadia National Forest every year. During our frequent hikes, I would pause to press my hands onto the trunks of vibrant, strong trees and into the fertile soil, feeling its energy. I remember being in awe of the raw Earth and feeling like I was part of it. I've maintained that sense of being one with the planet since then.

Terravive means "the Earth sustains itself." I believe that the planet has given us everything we need to live happy, full lives. At Terravive, we feel it's our duty to preserve and protect our environment, and we work tirelessly to do just that. By purchasing Terravive products, you can rest assured that you are accelerating the transition to a circular economy and making a positive impact on the planet.
